WCA’s 2022 Emerging Artist Ashley January joins Dr. Alexandria Cunningham and Melissa Parram (Planned Parenthood of Illinois) to discuss maternal and infant mortality in the wake of Roe v. Wade’s reversal. The panel examines how the current political climate impacts healthcare, research, and access—and how art, advocacy, and activism can help cultivate care for mothers at every level.
