Explorations in Jewish Text through Process based Art and Writing 

A series of three 90-minute Zoom sessions beginning Nov. 17th

Tevet / Dec.15th   Open Studio Process with Idelle Hammond-Sass, OSP Facilitator 

Shevet / Jan. 12th   Handmade Midrash with Rona Lesser, in the style of Jo Milgrom 

Each session will begin with a short, selected text that will be shared and discussed, followed by enough time for artmaking, reflective writing and sharing.  

With a focus on process rather than product, using these three methodologies offer a fresh approach to access insight, intuition, build self-awareness and allow new imagery to arise. 

We will discuss how to use these methods in your studio practice, a classroom context and with non-artists and other groups.
