Open from Sept 19 thru Oct 31 2021, Womxnhouse Detroit offered a unique benchmark 50 years into feminist art answering the questions, What has changed for women? What remains the same? Co-Curator and WCA member Laura Earle will give a short presentation on Womxnhouse Detroit with an introduction to all 13 artists. The panel discussion that follows will be focused on the women of color who participated in the project. Panelists Asia Hamilton, Olivia Guterson, Dalia Reyes, Amelia Reyes and Sabrina Nelson will talk about being part of a project that was absent of the voices of women of color and discuss how change can happen going forward.
